This was an incredibly exciting week, as my hubby and I went on out belated “minimoon” honeymoon to Melbourne! I took over 1200 photos while away *gasp* and am planning to make a honeymoon PL album during the summer holidays. I added just a couple of favs, so this week’s layout is only 4 pages long *sigh of relief*.
I love school holidays because I have a chance to get a different type of photos then usual, less everyday life and more friendly catch ups and family get togethers. Nethertheless, the bunnies do still make an appearance hehe.
Although I adore these chipboard thickers, the lack of adhesive on them drives me bonkers! I have turned now to stapling them with my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher to keep them secured. I actually like the industrial effect it gives them. Many of these cards also came from various Studio Calico Kits.
I love including ephemera from my week in my layouts, like these awesome clothing tags from my shopping trip. Such an easy (and cheap!) embellishment to an otherwise blank space.
I love that I was able to spin this Studio Calico card to suit our warming temperatures. In the US of course, the seasons are opposite, so they are heading into Autumn and Winter. Here however, we have had CRAAAZY weather, cold one day then hot the next. Myself, I despise hot weather…as a redhead I burn very easily (I actually did burn on this day, from 15 minutes in a car yard. Damn you pale skin!) and have never really been an outdoorsy beach person. Give me stereotypical Spring weather any day, not 27 degrees at 9pm!!!!
